Whats this japanese animated movie?

Well at least i think it belongs to that genre. The plot as far as i can remember has a young girl in it and, there are these giant bugs with red eyes and they come and tramped the land and the girl manages to calm them and stop it, think there is a field of gold in it and war of some kind.
