What to do when your husband has PTSD and wants a divorce from over sea's?

My husband has been In Kuwait and Iraq for over 3 years. He was home in May for two weeks and things seemed fine. He has said that he wanted all bills paid before he came home but doesn't understand little things happen and not all the bills have been paid. He informed me 3 days after our 9th anniversary that he is done. He hasn't said divorce but says it is over. We have a 5 year old that was almost 2 when he left. I don't want this marriage to end. I am a strong believer in you do what it takes to make it work. I really need a guys point of view on what he is going through and how to reach him. We are starting to talk to lawyers and I don't want this. Help!
