Kids movie from the 90s - anybody know?

It's got a song that has this in it: "you never know, you never know, you never know until you tryyy" and its got like marionettes singing it. I think the whole movie takes place on a patchwork quilt and one of the things the marionettes have to do is fix their horse's ripped leg. anybody know?
