Can a mickey mouse fish live in a goldfish bowl?

I went to get a gold fish for my granddaughter and I saw a fish with mickey mouse head on it's tail and thought she would love it. Well someone said they can't live in a goldfish bowl so do I need to get her an aquarium for this one fish? Thanks for any information on this.
