Do Bush, McCain or Republicans favor military dictatorship in the U.S.?

The military industrial complex seems to be in charge at this time. Will John McCain continue this trend toward Fascism? Has the Republican presidency and candidacy been more akin to Fidel Castro or Saddam Husein in their favoritism toward warfare and military build up?
