ADHD/ADD and medication that may be the cause of problems !?

I was 6 years old when I was diagnosed as ADHD, and having ODD, and a mood disorder. I think at that time maybe I actually may not have had it, and thought maybe the medicine all these years have progressed these problems to me...Noone should take foreign chemicals into their body at the age of 6. Your told not to even drink diet pop really at that age because your brain isn't fully developed ! Humph I took a diagnosis test at Pathways not too long ago and go back to see the results the 11th of this month. As my adopted father said, I think that dicipline was something I never got that possibly could've helped me early, not..hey lets put the child on a amphetamine substance (Adderall) at the age of 6 and maybe all those problems he has will manage. Is it at all possible the medication could've caused me to reley on them....what I'm saying is when I don't take the medication my actions change and unlike an addiction it's just lack of the medication that causes the problems, along with it already to have caused problems itself ?? Is that even a statistic of possibility ???
